Installation instructions for high speed gear:

1. Remove old gear & replace. (Be careful not to lose "c clip")

2. Cut or grind 1/4" off the end of bar as shown (use either a bench grinder or a "hummer" wheel) Hummer wheels are available from sears:

3. Cut away some of the orange plastic on the inside of the cover that goes over the gear.  (otherwise the chain will rub)

4. You will probably need to add 1 tooth to your 3/8" chain.  When ordering, your chain maker should know what you mean if you say- 91/51

5. Run chain fairly tight to prevent it from coming off the sprocket at high speed.

6. Cut your rakers down about 1/2 way & let the big dog eat!!
